Automatic Pet Feeder 6L with HD Camera and Two Bowls

An automatic feeder takes the guesswork out of mealtimes. Fill the clear food store with dry biscuits, set the times you want your pet fed, and the feeder does the rest, releasing a measured portion into the bowl whether you are at your desk, stuck in traffic or out for the evening. Because you can watch and speak through the camera in the front panel, you are not simply trusting a timer: you can see the bowl fill and hear your cat arrive.

The body is moulded in ABS and polypropylene with a translucent food store on top, so a glance tells you how much is left. Two stainless steel bowls sit in a moulded base either side of the food outlet, and they lift out for washing, as do the food store and its lid. Inside, a rotating impeller and a smooth chute move dry biscuits down without crushing or jamming them, while the main unit itself only needs a wipe with a damp cloth.

Setting up runs through the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, which pairs the feeder over Bluetooth or a QR code and works with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz home networks. From the app you build a daily feeding plan, add an extra portion, watch live, record a clip and hold a two-way conversation. There is also a recorded meal call, your own voice played each time food drops, so your pet learns the sound. Standing next to the feeder, a double press on the panel hands out one serving.

Power comes from the supplied UK three-pin USB adapter. A battery compartment takes three C (LR14) cells, which the manual asks you to fit alongside the mains supply so the feeder keeps working if the power drops. The schedule is stored in the feeder itself rather than in your phone, so an outage or a network wobble does not erase the plan you built.

It suits homes with one or two smaller animals, from cats and kittens to small dogs, rabbits and similar pets, and sits well in a kitchen or utility room against a wall where the cable can be kept out of reach. It is a practical answer for long working days, for the pet that wakes you at five asking for breakfast, and for the weekend when a neighbour looks in but cannot be there at every mealtime.
