Adjustable Elevated Dog Bowl Stand, Stainless Steel Bowls

An elevated feeding station for dogs, built so that dinner and water sit up where the dog stands rather than flat on the kitchen floor. The frame rests on four legs that lock through a run of settings, from the lowest position with the legs folded away inside the base up to a height that suits a tall adult dog. One stand therefore carries a puppy through to a grown dog, and gives an older dog with a stiff neck something it can reach without stooping.

The stand is moulded from ABS and polypropylene, with a soft rubber ring set into each bowl recess. That ring grips the rim of the bowl, so nothing rings or wanders across the top while the dog eats. Each pair of legs carries a moulded brace that keeps the frame square under a dog leaning into its meal, and the feet are finished with non-slip pads so the whole thing holds its place on tiles or boards. Stainless steel bowls drop into the recesses and lift straight out again for washing, and they go in the dishwasher. The slow feeder is not a third bowl: it is a moulded insert that sits inside one of the steel bowls and fills it with rounded ribs, so a dog that swallows its dinner in seconds has to eat its way around them. Take the insert out and the same bowl goes back to being a plain deep bowl for water.

It suits a household where the dog is fed in the kitchen, the utility room or a porch and the bowls are forever being nudged about, and it is worth a look for a growing puppy, a large breed that eats standing square, and an older dog whose joints make bending down hard work. Fold the legs into the base and the stand becomes a low twin feeder for a small dog, flat enough to slide onto a cupboard shelf, take to kennels or pack for a weekend away.
