Compare material, thickness and weight

The range includes 900gsm EPDM rubber liner and plastic sheet options with listed thicknesses such as 0.35mm and 0.5mm. GSM means grams per square metre; it is a weight measurement and cannot be read as thickness in millimetres. Check the specifications for the exact product and selected size.

Allow for the complete pond shape

Measure the area the liner must cover rather than only the water surface. Include the depth, internal shelves and enough material to secure the perimeter. Check the required sheet dimensions before ordering and follow the product installation instructions.

Check whether underlay is included

Prepare the base by removing sharp stones and roots. Compare listings that include underlay with a liner-only option, or browse separate protective pond underlay. Underlay supports base preparation; it does not replace the waterproof liner. Review the selected option’s contents and current availability before checkout.
