XPS Underlay Insulation for Laminate & Wood 5mm

This XPS underlay is designed to sit beneath laminate or wood flooring to improve everyday comfort and performance. It helps retain warmth, reduce noise transfer and create a more stable feel underfoot, making rooms feel cosier and quieter.

Made from extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam, the boards are lightweight to handle and straightforward to install. The closed-cell construction is moisture resistant and helps the underlay stay durable over time, while also supporting joints and smoothing out small imperfections in the subfloor.

Ideal for home renovation and new installations, it can be used in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and other areas where laminate or wood flooring is being laid. It’s particularly useful where you want added insulation or a reduction in footfall noise without changing the finished floor height significantly.
