XPS Tile Backer Boards with Fixing Washers – 50 Pack

These XPS tile backer boards are designed to create a strong, waterproof and insulated base for tiling on walls and floors. Ideal for wet rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and other moisture-prone areas, they help form a reliable substrate that is easy to handle, cut and fit. The included fixing washers support secure installation before tiles are applied.

Each board features a closed-cell XPS foam core with fibreglass mesh and a polymer-cement coating on both faces. This construction gives the board excellent rigidity while remaining lightweight for easier transport and fitting. The waterproof core resists moisture and water vapour, while the coated surface is suitable for direct tiling using standard tile adhesive methods.

The boards are well suited to renovation work as well as new installations. They can be used for wall lining, floor preparation, shower enclosures, wet room areas and around underfloor heating systems where thermal insulation is beneficial. Their easy-to-cut design also makes them practical for shaping around corners, pipework and awkward spaces.

The supplied fixing washers help hold the boards firmly in place on floors and walls. Their perforated surface allows adhesive or plaster to bond through the washer, while the countersunk design helps keep the surface flush and ready for finishing. For waterproof installations, all joints, seams and fastener heads should be sealed correctly during fitting.
