This butyl sealant tape is designed for quick, reliable sealing and repair where you need a watertight finish. The self-adhesive backing helps it bond firmly to many common building materials, making it ideal for tackling leaks, joints and overlaps with minimal fuss.
Made with an elasto-plastic aluminium facing and a butyl-based adhesive layer, it combines flexibility with durable surface protection. It is waterproof, UV- and weather-resistant, and supplied with a removable silicone protective film to keep the adhesive clean until you are ready to apply.
Suitable for sealing and patching around gutters and downpipes, chimneys, roof windows and light domes, as well as roof gaps and general building joints. It can also be used for repairs on caravans, containers, façades and metal construction, including sealing cracks and overlapping metal sections.
To apply, cut to the required length, peel away the backing film and press firmly onto a clean surface. Position carefully on first contact, and allow an adequate overlap where you are joining runs to help maintain a dependable seal.
