Featuring a blue, closed-cell XPS foam core that is completely free of CFCs and HCFCs, the board is coated on both sides with fiberglass mesh and a polymer-cement mortar layer. This construction creates a stable and durable surface ideal for setting tiles using the thin-bed process.
The XPS foam core is 100% waterproof and offers excellent resistance to water vapor. When seams and fastener heads are correctly sealed, the board forms part of a complete waterproof installation system.
