Butyl Roof Repair Tape Waterproof Anthracite

This butyl roof repair tape is designed for quick, reliable waterproof sealing on roofs and exterior joints. It helps stop leaks and protect vulnerable seams, overlaps and connections, making it ideal for both repairs and preventative maintenance.

Made as an aluminium-backed, elasto-plastic sealing tape with a butyl self-adhesive layer, it bonds strongly to many common surfaces. The tape is UV- and weather-resistant and is suitable for use alongside bitumen-based materials, with a removable protective film to keep the adhesive clean until application.

Use it around gutters, downpipes, chimneys, corrugated sheets, roof windows and light domes, as well as for sealing roof gaps and panel joints. It’s also useful for sealing cracks and metal overlaps on caravans, containers, façades and other metal construction work where a durable waterproof barrier is required.

For best results, apply to a clean, dry surface and position the tape carefully before pressing down firmly.

How to apply:
1) Cut the tape to the required length.
2) Peel away the backing film.
3) Press firmly into place and smooth down to ensure good contact.
4) Allow a suitable overlap at joins for a secure seal.
