Water Butt Drain Connector, BSP Male, with Nut and Seals

This bulkhead drain connector gives a water butt, rain barrel or similar tank a threaded outlet. Its threaded body passes through a hole in the tank wall and the fastening nut holds it in place, with the supplied seals fitted against the wall. What you are left with is a male BSP thread, ready for a fitting with a matching female BSP thread.

The connector is black plastic, and each one is supplied as a threaded bulkhead body with its own fastening nut and seals. That is the complete set: no valve, tap or hose is included, so the outlet is finished with whichever fitting you choose to connect.

Five nominal BSP male thread sizes are offered: 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1.25 inch, 1.5 inch and 2 inch. The 3/4 inch and 1 inch connectors are sold in packs of two, while the 1.25 inch, 1.5 inch and 2 inch connectors can be bought singly or in a pack of two. A pack of two holds two complete connectors of the same size, each with its own nut and seals.

The inch figure is the nominal designation of the BSP thread rather than a measurement across the outside of the thread, so match it to the female thread of the fitting you plan to connect. BSP is also a different thread from the S60x6 thread used on IBC tank outlets, so the two should not be confused. The photographs show the connector type for reference, so order by the size and pack named in the option.
