This polypropylene pipe socket joins two 2in BSP male-threaded pipes or fittings together in a straight, continuous run. It has a female BSP thread at each end, with a moulded hexagonal centre section that gives a spanner a firm hold during tightening. Made from PP plastic, it is a lightweight alternative to metal couplings for general pipework and water transfer connections. Simply check that your existing pipework uses a 2in BSP male thread at both ends, then thread the socket on and tighten for a secure join.
