Irrigation Fittings for 13 mm ID / 16 mm OD Pipe, 26 Pieces

This 26-piece set brings together the fittings a garden watering line needs most, all sized for pipe with a 13 mm inside and 16 mm outside diameter. Whether you are laying a new run along a border or extending one that is already in place, it lets you join lengths, change direction, split the flow, shut off a branch and close the ends without buying each part separately.

Inside are six straight joiners, six elbows, six tees and six stop ends, together with one in-line valve and one quick-connect hose adaptor. The joiners, elbows, tees and stop ends are moulded in black plastic with ribbed, barbed ends that push into the bore of the pipe and hold it from the inside. The elbows turn the line through a right angle, the tees open a side branch and the stop ends close off the end of each run.

The in-line valve sits between two lengths of pipe, and its lever opens or closes the flow to everything beyond it, so one bed can be left dry while the rest of the garden is watered. The quick-connect adaptor has a barbed end for the start of the pipe and a click-fit end that joins a garden hose connector, linking the line to your tap or hose. The matching tap or hose connector is not part of the set.

It suits home gardeners, vegetable growers and allotment holders who water beds, borders, rows and greenhouses with 13 mm micro-irrigation pipe, and it is a useful set to keep in the shed for repairs when a pipe is cut or a run needs to change. Before ordering, check that your pipe measures 13 mm inside and 16 mm outside: the set contains fittings only, and pipe is sold separately.
