IBC Outlet Extender, S60x6 Nut to BSP Male Thread

This extender is made for IBC tanks with an S60x6 outlet thread. Its female nut screws onto the tank outlet and the opposite end finishes in a male BSP thread, so a fitting with a matching female BSP thread can be connected a step further out from the tank. It does one job, turning the S60x6 outlet into a BSP connection, and leaves the choice of the next fitting to you.

The pictured fitting is black, with a broad ribbed nut at the tank end, a stepped round body and a male threaded outlet at the other end.

Three outlet sizes are offered, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch BSP male, and they differ only in that outlet thread. All three are illustrated with the same reference photograph, so choose by the size named in the option rather than by comparing pictures. The inch figures are nominal BSP thread designations, not a measurement of the outside diameter of the thread, so match the option to the female thread of the fitting you intend to connect next.

It suits anyone using an IBC tank for water storage, including tanks set up as large water butts, who wants a BSP threaded connection at the outlet. Only the extender is supplied: no tap, shut-off valve, hose or tank is included, and extenders with a female outlet are sold as separate products.
