Soft-Close Gas Strut Cabinet Flap Stay 270mm

This gas strut lift stay is designed to support cabinet doors and furniture fronts that open upwards, helping them lift smoothly and remain securely held in the open position. It improves everyday access while providing a controlled, soft-close action for a more premium feel.

Made from steel with a brushed finish, the strut is built for dependable performance in regular household use. The set includes the strut and fitting hardware to help you achieve a neat, stable installation.

For best results, it is commonly fitted as a pair (one on each side) to keep the door balanced and to reduce the risk of twisting or uneven lifting. This makes it a practical choice for kitchen wall units, storage cabinets and other lift-up furniture fronts.

Suitable for wooden and aluminium frame doors, the correct strut strength should be chosen to match the weight and size of your door for smooth opening and consistent support. If you are unsure which strength to select, measure your door and consider how it will be used day to day before ordering.

What is supplied?

The pack quantity is one gas strut. The listed contents are the strut, fastening elements, screws and assembly instructions. If your furniture requires two struts, order the required quantity rather than assuming the pack is a pair.

Choose the strength for your cabinet

Check the selected strength, the 270mm overall length and the fitting instructions against your door and existing hardware. The correct choice depends on the door size, weight and mounting arrangement.
