Double Lever Outside Tap Kit, Two Outlets, 1/2 inch BSP

This double lever outside tap kit turns one garden water point into two. The tap has two outlets, each opened with its own lever, so a hose can stay connected on one side while the other is used to fill a watering can or a bucket.

The kit is made up of three parts: the double lever tap with its 1/2 inch BSP inlet, a roll of PTFE thread sealing tape for wrapping the inlet thread before the tap goes on, and the connector option you select. The hose connector goes on the end of your garden hose and clicks onto the tap’s quick-connect outlet, so the hose can be taken off and put back by hand.

Connectors come in black/green, black/orange, black/yellow, lime, lime/grey, white and white/grey, which helps when more than one hose is in use and they need telling apart, and in brass for anyone who prefers a metal fitting. The standard tap kit is offered as a further option.

It suits homeowners swapping a worn single outside tap for a twin-outlet one, gardeners who water from a hose and a can at the same time, and anyone who washes the car or the patio from the same supply. The tap screws into an existing 1/2 inch BSP female fitting on the wall, such as a wall plate or the end of a through-wall pipe. Pipework, wall flange, isolation valve, flexible connector, screws and wall plugs are not part of this kit.
