25mm MDPE Wall Flange with Valve to 4mm Micro Irrigation

This kit gives a 25 mm MDPE water pipe a fixed end on a wall and turns it into a single outlet for 4 mm micro irrigation. The pipe enters the wall flange through a compression joint, an in-line valve screws into the flange’s 3/4 inch BSP female outlet, and an adaptor on the far end of the valve finishes the run with a barbed spigot for 4 mm micro irrigation pipe. Instead of a loose pipe end, you get one watering point on the wall that opens and closes by hand.

The wall flange is a right-angled compression fitting on a flat plate with fixing holes. The MDPE pipe comes in from below and is held by tightening the ribbed compression nut, while the threaded outlet faces straight out from the wall. The black valve is threaded 3/4 inch BSP male at both ends and has a small handle on top for opening and closing the line. The adaptor has a ribbed grip around its 3/4 inch BSP female thread for screwing it onto the valve, and a barbed spigot that the 4 mm pipe pushes over.

Use it wherever an MDPE supply reaches a house wall, garage, shed or greenhouse and you want a micro irrigation line to run from it: drip line along a border or raised bed, drippers in pots and planters on a patio, or a line across greenhouse staging. With the valve at the wall, the 4 mm line can be turned on and off on the spot, without shutting off the rest of the supply.

The kit suits gardeners, allotment holders and growers who already have 25 mm MDPE pipe at an outside wall, and anyone extending a micro irrigation system from a fixed supply. It contains only the three parts described here; MDPE pipe, 4 mm pipe, drippers, thread tape and the screws and plugs for the plate are not included.
