Turn an IBC into a reliable dispensing point with this S60x6 coarse thread cap and brass garden tap kit. It provides a secure connection for controlled water draw-off, helping reduce spills and make day-to-day garden watering far simpler.
The cap is made from chemical-resistant polypropylene (PP) and seals firmly to the IBC outlet. A built-in BSP female thread accepts the supplied brass tap, which is designed for outdoor use and offers smooth on/off control for quick filling and watering.
Ideal for rainwater harvesting, greenhouse use, allotments and general irrigation, the hose tail outlet is suited to common garden hose sizes so you can run water to beds, butts or watering equipment. It can also be used for transferring compatible non-potable liquids where a dependable shut-off tap is required.
For best results, ensure threads are clean before fitting and tighten by hand for a snug seal. If you need extra leak protection on the threaded connection, PTFE tape can be used (sold separately).
