Open Top Storage Box, Polyester, Rope Handles, 31x21x13 cm

This open-top storage box gives the small things around the house a place of their own. Its shallow, rectangular shape sits neatly on a shelf, inside a wardrobe or in a cupboard, and because there is no lid to lift, whatever you keep in it stays in view and comes out with one hand.

The outer walls are covered in polyester with a woven, linen-like texture, the inside is lined with fabric, and the edges are bound with a fabric trim. A separate fabric-covered board lies in the bottom of the box. At each short end a twisted cream rope runs through two metal eyelets and is knotted on the inside, giving you a handle to lift the box down from a high shelf or carry it into another room.

When you do not need it, the box folds down flat and can be tucked into a drawer or the back of a cupboard. Looking after it is simple: dust it with a soft dry cloth and spot clean any marks with a little mild soapy water. It is not made for the washing machine.

Use it to sort folded clothes, baby products, children’s toys, toiletries, towels, pet products or sports gear, one kind of thing per box. It comes in two colourways, an all-over grey and a two-tone grey and white, both with the same rope handles, so you can keep one look across a room or tell the contents of different boxes apart by colour.
