IBC Tank Filling Lid with Garden Hose Inlet

This filling lid is for IBC water tanks that are topped up from a garden hosepipe. It replaces the screw-on cap on the tank’s top filling opening and brings a hose inlet through the lid, so the hose can be connected and the tank filled while the opening stays covered, rather than lifting the cap off and holding the hose over the open neck.

The lid is moulded HDPE, with a ribbed skirt around its edge to grip as you screw it on and off. The hose connection is mounted in the lid on a through-lid connector, held by a retaining nut and fitted with its seal set. On the brass hose tail versions the tail has a male BSP thread and comes in two sizes, so it can match the bore of the hose you already use.

It suits gardeners and anyone else who keeps an IBC as a water store and fills it from a tap through a hosepipe. The hose stays connected at the lid instead of lying in the neck of the tank, and the lid can stay screwed down between fills.

IBC lids are not all made to one size, so before ordering, compare the size and thread of the cap already on your tank with the version you choose. Each kit contains the lid, the through-lid connector with its retaining nut and seal set, and the hose connection for that version. The hosepipe itself is not included.
