25mm MDPE Wall Flange to 3/4 inch Camlock Kit

This kit gives a 25 mm MDPE water pipe a fixed end on a wall, finished with a camlock coupling where a hose can be connected and taken off again by hand. The pipe enters the wall flange through a compression joint, the flange plate holds the outlet steady against the wall, and a 3/4 inch camlock fitting screws into the outlet’s 3/4 inch BSP female thread, so the supply ends in a quick-release point rather than a loose pipe end.

The wall flange is a right-angled compression fitting on a flat wall plate with fixing holes, made for 25 mm MDPE pipe: the pipe goes in at one end and the threaded outlet faces out from the wall at the other. The camlock fittings are polypropylene, in the 3/4 inch cam-and-groove size. A coupler has two cam arms that close over the groove of the matching adaptor and lock it in place; the adaptor is the grooved half that sits inside the coupler. Opening the arms releases the joint.

There are four kits. Type B puts a coupler on the wall, ready for a hose fitted with a 3/4 inch male camlock adaptor. Type F puts a grooved male adaptor on the wall instead, for a hose that already carries a 3/4 inch female coupler. The Types B + E kit pairs the Type B coupler with a Type E adaptor that has a serrated hose tail, so you have both halves of the connection: the tail goes into your hose, and the hose then locks onto the wall. The fourth kit is the same pair plus a 25 mm MDPE in-line compression ball valve, 25 mm at both ends, which fits in the supply pipe before the wall flange so the water to the point can be turned off.

The kit suits gardens, allotments, smallholdings and yards where a 25 mm MDPE supply runs to a wall, and anyone who moves a hose between jobs and wants a connection that locks by hand and comes apart without tools. Each kit contains only the parts listed for it; MDPE pipe, hose, hose clips, thread tape and the screws and plugs for fixing the plate are not included.
