This water butt tap and brass adapter kit makes it easy to replace a worn outlet or add a new draw-off point to a rainwater tank. It creates a secure connection for controlled water release, helping you collect and use rainwater for everyday garden tasks with less mess and fewer drips.
The adapter is made from brass and fits through the wall of the tank using the included nut and two rubber washers to clamp and seal from both sides. The design provides a threaded outlet for your chosen tap or valve, and a roll of PTFE tape is included to help achieve a tight, leak-resistant seal during assembly.
Choose the Size and Model to match your tank outlet and the type of connection you need, including quick-connect options for standard hose fittings, barbed outlets for hose tails, and valve styles for easier flow control. This makes it suitable for everything from filling watering cans to feeding a hosepipe for garden irrigation.
If your tank has an existing outlet hole, you can fit the adapter directly (subject to compatibility). If not, you can create a new outlet position by drilling the tank and installing the adapter with the washers on both sides before attaching the tap.
