Weed Control Membrane Garden Ground Cover

Create a cleaner, lower-maintenance growing area with this weed control membrane, designed to suppress weeds while supporting healthy plant growth. It helps reduce the need for chemical weedkillers, keeps soil conditions more stable, and leaves beds, borders and paths looking neat.

The membrane is made from polypropylene geotextile, providing a durable, weather-resistant barrier that allows water and air to pass through while reducing evaporation from the soil. Selected options include striped versions to help with planting alignment, as well as accessories to help secure and install the membrane.

Use it in gardens, greenhouses, polytunnels and allotments to control weeds around flowers, fruit and vegetable crops. It can also be laid under decorative stone, bark or grit to keep surface finishes looking fresh and to reduce weed regrowth.

For planting through the fabric, simply cut a small slit where needed and place seeds or plants into the opening. Around established plants, you can fit and secure strips around stems and refresh sections over time for an ongoing tidy finish.
