Water Butt Tap Outlet Extender Female BSP

This water butt outlet extender connector is designed to bring the tap connection forward, making it easier to attach hoses, fill watering cans and access the outlet without the tap sitting tight against the barrel wall. It’s ideal for rain barrels and rainwater tanks where extra clearance helps reduce awkward bending and accidental knocks.

Made from durable ABS, it’s built for outdoor use and provides a secure, watertight connection when fitted correctly. The design uses sealing washers on both sides of the container to help prevent drips and leaks, whether you’re installing into an existing threaded port or mounting through the container wall.

If your container already has a suitable female threaded outlet, simply screw the extender into the existing thread. For containers without a threaded port, you can drill a hole and fit the extender through the wall, then tighten from the inside with the washer and back nut for a firm seal.
