Product description
BuTape is a ready-to-use elasto-plastic aluminium sealing tape with
Self-adhesive coating based on butyl. On the butyl layer
There is a removable silicone protective film.
Can be used for non-bitumen compatible surfaces.
Instructions for use:
- Sealing of gutters, downpipes, chimneys, corrugated panels, roof windows, light domes, roof gaps, attic panels, etc.
- Universal sealing and repair tape.
- Sealing glass roof constructions
- Sealing cracks and metal overlaps in caravan, container, façade and metal construction.
- Waterproofing of impacts, edges, connections and seams where a water vapour and gas diffusion tight seal is required.
Processing
Cut the sealing tape to the required length. Peel off the silicone strip on the back and press firmly onto the intended surface. The sealing tape must be positioned correctly when first sticking. Correction only works conditional depending on the surface. Consider overlap of at least 5 cm.
Durability
Store the product in original packaging in a venitated and dry room.
